Mahogany Serpentine Serving Table

We have chosen to adopt the Adams style for our serving table.  This is a neoclassical design practiced by three brothers in the 18th century.  Their aim was to simplify the ornate Rococo and Baroque styles which were popular in the preceding decades and introduce a lighter and more elegant design. The expression Serpentine, derived from serpent or snake, refers to curved shapes clearly incorporated in our table and the Adams style can be seen in the fluted legs and carved motifs.

Most of our furniture can be made in Mahogany, Walnut, Burr Walnut, Pollard Oak, Rosewood, Yew Oyster and Walnut Oyster and only British hardwood is used. We stock an extensive selection of exotic veneers for special commissions.

Due to natural fluctuations in wood grain and colour the final finish may vary. Exact matches cannot be guaranteed, however our skilled polishers do achieve a very close match to customer requirements.

Our workshops are open seven days a week but please make an appointment so a member of staff is available for your enquiries.
