Mahogany Chippendale Chair

Thomas Chippendale was born into a family with a long experience of the wood working trade. He became famous for his furniture designs and the publication of his "Gentleman and Cabinet Makers Directory". Our beautiful chair is typical of his style with its broad seat, ribbon back and cabriole legs finishing with ball and claw feet. Seats can be finished in cloth or leather. We are also proud to present, among our range, bookcases, chests of drawers and bureaux in the Chippendale style.

Most of our furniture can be made in Mahogany, Walnut, Burr Walnut, Pollard Oak, Rosewood, Yew Oyster and Walnut Oyster and only British hardwood is used. We stock an extensive selection of exotic veneers for special commissions.

Due to natural fluctuations in wood grain and colour the final finish may vary. Exact matches cannot be guaranteed, however our skilled polishers do achieve a very close match to customer requirements.
